AGENCY
Karate is a project founded in 2025 by Jorge Segarra and Patricia Tormo with the intention of expressing our own vision of this craft from a kinder, freer and more personal stage.
Karate is not a radically different proposal. It is a proposal that makes us radically happy.
We bring with us over 14 years of experience in some of the country’s most notable agencies, where we led creative direction and managed projects for leading brands.
We stand by this motto: “If you can’t understand it, it can’t move you. If it doesn’t move you, you won’t understand it.”

JORGE SEGARRA
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
After an initial spell at SCPF, he arrived at the closing chapter of the legendary agency Villarrosàs, just as the story of &Rosàs was beginning to take shape. There, he became Creative Director at the Barcelona office and later at the Madrid office alongside Nacho Ginestra.
During more than 12 years at &Rosàs he worked for brands such as Voll-Damm, Audi, Decathlon, SEAT, Dewar’s… leading from the Creative Direction brands and communication platforms such as “That’s the New York Life” by Seagram’s Gin, “ALMA” by Fundacion la Caixa, “Vivir para celebrar” by Codorníu and “La vida es más vida cuando nos encontramos” for Mahou Cinco Estrellas. His work has been recognized by the most important festivals in the country.
PATRICIA TORMO
PROJECT MANAGER
After an initial experience in the United States within global communications groups, she joined &Rosàs Barcelona, where she worked for more than 5 years on the agency’s national and international accounts such as Euroleague, Turkish Airlines, CUPRA, Heura, Fundación ”la Caixa” and Mahou San Miguel.
Seeking to broaden her experience, she moved to Madrid, joining the creative agency CHINA part of LLYC, where she worked on key accounts such as Adolfo Domínguez, Alhambra, Seagram’s Gin, and Astara. After a period as a freelancer collaborating with agencies and diverse projects across the country, she made the personal and professional decision to join Karate.

Karate was born from the CONVICTION that communication and brands can bring positive value to society and to people’s lives, to the point of shaping popular culture
